Caring for Your Hippo Blue Stamp
Your Hippo Blue Stamp is designed to help you label your child's belongings with ease and convenience. To ensure its longevity and optimal performance, follow these simple care instructions:
- Storage: Store your stamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This helps to prevent the ink from drying out.
- Usage: Use your stamp on smooth, flat surfaces for the best results. It works well on most fabrics but might not perform as well on very dark or thin materials.
- Ink Replacement: Changing the ink cartridge is a breeze. When it's time for a replacement, simply release the tab at the back of your name stamp and pull out the old ink pad. Remove the plastic film from your new cartridge and insert it into the stamp. You're all set to keep stamping!
- Washing Precautions: After using the stamp, allow about 24 hours before washing the item. This gives the ink ample time to fully set and bond with the fabric. For the longevity of the print, it's recommended to wash the stamped items at a temperature no higher than 40°C (104°F). On average, the ink stays bright and bold through about 50 washes when cared for properly.
- Stamping Tips: For best results, press your stamp down firmly and evenly onto the surface for about 3-5 seconds. Avoid moving or sliding the stamp as this can cause smudging or blurred lines. If you're stamping onto uneven surfaces, use your free hand to smooth the fabric out to create an even surface for the stamp.
- Cleaning: Keep your Hippo Blue Stamp clean by using a damp cloth or tissue to wipe off any excess ink after each use. This helps to prevent build-up and maintains the quality of your impressions.
- Ink Safety: The ink used in our name stamp is resilient and gentle. While we recommend avoiding consumption or contact with eyes for safety, rest assured that once the ink has set into the fabric, it's perfectly safe.
Remember, your Hippo Blue Stamp is more than just a tool - it's a way to celebrate your child's individuality and keep their belongings identifiable. With proper care, your stamp will continue to serve you effectively for a long time. If you have any questions or need more assistance, we're always here for you. Happy stamping!
