We recommend a warm soapy hand wash for the longevity of your bottle print.
Preparation
- Prepare warm soapy water
- Use a mild detergent and soft cleaning aid
Steps
- Unscrew the lid from your bottle, open the drinking spout and disconnect the straw from the lid
- To keep your drink bottle leakproof, there is a leakproof valve on the underside of your lid. Please do not remove this, and be careful not to dislodge it when washing.
- Soak lid and straw parts for 10 minutes in warm soapy water.
- Using a sponge, wash the inside and outside of the lid. Again, be careful not to dislodge the leakproof valve.
- Use a straw cleaning brush for hard-to-reach areas, such as inside and around the mouthpiece, the straw and the white filter connector.
- Please do not remove the mouthpiece from the lid. You can pull the mouthpiece back to get your straw brush underneath where it connects. Scrubbing this in warm soapy water and rinsing it under clean water will dislodge any buildup. Watch the video above on how best to achieve this.
- Clean the inside of the bottle using a bottle brush or something similar, and remove any residue on the base.
- Gently wipe down the outer bottle with a soft sponge and avoid any harsh scrubbing of the print. Never use an abrasive cleaning aid on the outer bottle.
- Always rinse parts under clean water to remove soap before placing them on a drying rack to air dry.
- Using a clean, dry tea towel, ensure all parts are completely dry before storing away and always store parts separate in a well-ventilated area.
- Reassemble your bottle by pushing your straw piece firmly back into the white filter connector before taking the lid and aligning the two marker dots with the two braces on the straw mount. Use thumbs to push together firmly to ensure a secure fit.
- Fill your bottle with your drink of choice and screw on the lid until hand tight.
Please note
- Your drink bottle is not intended for use in the microwave.
- To preserve the print, avoid using the dishwasher.
- Your drink bottle will leak if your leakproof valve is misplaced or removed.
- Each bottle comes with a spare parts kit which includes a replacement straw, leakproof valve and connector piece.
- Be sure to clean your bottle regularly, and always make sure this is dry before reassembling or storing.
- Our drink bottles are made from 316 Food Grade Stainless steel; however, avoid allowing water to sit on the outer rim for long periods as this can still result in corrosion.
