Cleaning Reusable Food Pouches

Cleaning Reusable Food Pouches

We recommend cleaning your food pouches as soon as possible after each use with a warm soapy hand wash.

  1. Unscrew the cap, leaving the seam sealed and fill the pouch with running water through the spout by holding it directly under the tap
  2. Squeeze the water out to remove any food leftovers, repeating this step multiple times if required
  3. Repeat this step; however, screw the cap back on and give it a good shake to help remove any stubborn residue before squeezing the water out again.
  4. Prepare warm soapy water, open the ziplock seam and allow your pouch to soak.
  5. Take your bottle brush, and give the pouch a good scrub through the bottom seam. Twist the brush around to make sure you reach corners.
  6. Use a straw brush and small scrubbing brush to reach any residue that may have built up around the spout, in the zip lock and the cap.
  7. Rinse under clean water to remove excess soap and let this flow in one end and out the other.
  8. Leave pouch open to air dry. A drying rack with prongs or something to keep the pouch open at the seam is ideal   TIP: Dry them over spoons in a mug.
  9. Ensure the pouch is fully dry before storing away. You can use a tea towel or paper towel to absorb any leftover moisture.
  10. Store in a well-ventilated area with zip lock open and cap off.

Please note

  • Do not let your food pouches sit for long periods after use without being cleaned.
  • Never store away wet.

Warning: Small parts can be a choking hazard. Recommends for ages 3+
