Follow our step-by-step guide on how to switch your bento disc.
Start by opening your bento.
Take out the tray and carefully set it aside.
Hold your open bento box with both hands one on the top right corner and the other on the top left and bring box close to body.
Make sure hinged area of the box that opens is against your body to keep box steady.
Use your thumbs to gently press down on the top corners of the box. It doesn't need much force. This will pop the inner lid out of the box.
Slide out lid and set it aside.
Time to swap the disc. Turn it anticlockwise to unlock it and lift out.
Make sure the new disc is facing the correct way up when you put it in. Turn the disc clockwise until it locks into place. Never force the disc into place; it should fit comfortably.
Reinsert the inner lid. Line the small clips up with the notches in the box. The lid should sit flush in the box without any clips showing.
Warning: If the inner lid is not inserted correctly and the clips are visible, this will cause the lid to bow which can affect its function.
Put the tray back inside the box.
Lastly, close your Bento Box. Well done! You've successfully changed your Bento Disc!
